Since 2009, the North-East Nigeria continues to face attacks on civilians by Boko Haram that cause death, displacement, destruction of livelihoods, and violation of civilians’ rights. In Adamawa State Tear is working together with Integral Alliance partner Tearfund, who is working through local partners to provide relief to IDPs, many of whom are living in host communities already stretched. Through our partners we are providing cash for food assistance, support of income generating activities, access to safe water, sanitation and vital essentials.

This project is funded with relief funds from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Dutch Relief Alliance Joint Response 2 for Nigeria. The project is implemented in partnership with Tearfund, our Integral Alliance Partner.
